Magical Ireland: Exploring the Breathtaking Emerald Isle

We are excited to announce this new trip for 2017. Ireland - Luscious land full of charm, emerald green landscapes, rich history, culture, character and stunning sights. It is a magical place to visit and we are embarking off on this trip stopping by some of the best it has to offer. So join us on a thrilling adventure of discovering the mystery of Ireland as we capture some stunning photography and make new friends in the most welcoming place on earth.  Best of all, you get to do all this with group of people who share the same passion for photography and drink a pint of Guinness (or two or three - who’s counting?) along the way.

PhotoVenture Tour will allow you experience Ireland in an intimate way. While some places are popular and common, there are many beautiful locations that big tour groups cannot access due to the fact that many roads are narrow and hidden off the beaten path. Our tours are designed to showcase Ireland from a local perspective who are proud to share their beautiful country with you rather than selling you a big travel package. Leave the worries of trying to plan a “perfect trip” behind and let us guide you through the different terrains of this beautiful country. Not only will you discover a new cultural revolution through this process, you will also gain deeper sense of appreciate for life & beauty and rekindle your passion for life and for your profession.

When PhotoVenture started in 2009, we offered the tours only to professional photographers and mainly attracted wedding photographers since this is what Kenny Kim is known for. But over the years, we have discovered that when people from different backgrounds come together, a special synergy of learning and networking takes place. It created an environment that allowed us to teach and learn from one another. For this reason, we have opened up this tour for people of all professions that have passion for travel, photography and new culture.

Kenny will openly share his business tips, slew of his networking & marketing strategies for wedding photographers in a one-on-one or a group setting (depending on the topics being discussed and people attending the tour). For the avid amateurs or those just starting out in photography, Kenny can share the basics of SLR camera and shoot along with you side-by-side to help get the best shots. We will have various teaching moments including a scheduled lifestyle / engagement photo session with a beautiful Irish model couple. Kenny will share his shooting and posing tips and share his settings to get great images right out of your camera. Each days are organized with detailed itineraries to help maximize our time in Ireland but also open to any delightful surprises we may encounter along the way.

“I had the opportunity to take a one week vacation from my management consulting work and go on the November 2014 Tuscany tour with Kenny. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there was a range of photographers from professionals to novices like me that bought a DSLR the day before the trip. Kenny is a gifted teacher and shared his knowledge in photography, social media, and the insights he’s gained into the country along the way. What makes this trip such a once in a lifetime experience is also what makes Kenny a world class wedding photographer – he cares deeply about his clients and will go out of his way to make sure everyone is having the time of their lives. That much was evident to all of us and we had a blast.”
